LOW LATENCY AHB NIC

The TrueSilicon's AHB NIC IP is a global Network interface controller IP designed to provide seamless communication between AHB3-Lite master and AHB3-Lite/APB4 slave peripherals within a System-on-Chip (SoC). It supports a scalable architecture capable of connecting configurable number of AHB3-Lite masters and AHB3-Lite &APB4 and slaves, enabling flexible and efficient system integration.

The IP incorporates an efficient master-slave arbitration mechanism to ensure reliable and optimized access to shared resources with priority logic of ports. It supports basic read and write transactions, including all standard AHB burst types and transfer sizes. The AHB master and slave interfaces feature configurable data widths ranging from 32 bits to 128 bits, allowing designers to tailor the IP to specific application requirements.

The AHB NIC IP supports asynchronous clock domains, enabling communication between components operating at different clock frequencies. It also includes clock gating support to reduce dynamic power consumption without compromising performance. The interconnect architecture is optimized to traverse transactions with minimum latency, delivering high throughput and low access delays.

Delivered in synthesizable native Verilog (RTL), the IP is free from linting issues, ensuring straightforward integration into ASIC and FPGA designs. The RTL is fully synthesizable, achieves 100% code coverage, and fully complies with the AMBA AHB3-Lite and AMBA APB4 protocol specifications, ensuring interoperability with industry-standard AMBAcompliant peripherals.
